I didn't realize it came from the Christmas time/ Twelfth Night tradition. <br />I've looked at the 4 links for recipes -- think I might like to bake the one on the British Mum's Kitchen site, but what is sucanant sugar? Two of the other links also have recipes that look like they would be to our taste. The other link said they were 'authentic recipes' and I don't doubt it -- it was interesting to read, but don't think I want to attempt them.
